Andy Pendleton was elected Rainelle’s first female mayor in 2011 and served eight years across four terms before returning to the office. Her time in office has been defined by steady, hands-on leadership — most notably guiding Rainelle through recovery after the devastating 2016 flood, work that later earned her recognition as a Distinguished West Virginian from Governor Jim Justice.
